2018...a look back

Well, another year as come and gone, and what a great year it was. 2018 marked my second year in business, and although the learning curve this year wasn't as steep as my first year in business, there was still a fair amount of change and new opportunities.

The biggest change had to have been getting my 107 certification to be able to offer aerial drone photography. This was a game changer for me. These days, in order to stay competitive as a real estate photographer, one must be able to offer drone photography.

I began noticing, and maybe it's due to my interest in wanting to learn it, video has become more prevalent in the world of real estate photography. Agents are constantly seeking new ways to set themselves part from their competition, and as a result real estate photographers need to follow suit in order to set themselves apart. This is why 2019 will be the "Year of Video" for me. I will make it my mission to be able to offer video services by the mid-2019, if not sooner.

I hope you all had a great 2018, and here's to a wonderful and exciting 2019, full of incredible opportunities for all!
